Shocking Crime: Distribution in the US!
In a startling turn of events, Jamaican man Rajiv Isree, 32, has been handed a six-year and six-month prison sentence for distributing child pornography in Wisconsin, United States. Chief US District Judge James D. Peterson delivered the verdict following Isree’s guilty plea on August 7, 2023.
Timothy M. OβShea, the United States Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin, released a statement announcing the sentencing of the Jamaican man.
Isree, a Jamaican formerly residing in Baraboo, Wisconsin, may face deportation upon release from prison.
Failing deportation, he is set to undergo 10 years of supervised release.
The charges stemmed from an incident on July 2, 2022, when a 15-year-old girl reported being sexually assaulted by Isree. Investigations revealed that the defendant not only committed the assault but also filmed the heinous act, sending the victim a disturbing video.
Law enforcement discovered additional incriminating videos on Isree’s phone, depicting him engaging in sexual activity with the minor.
During sentencing, Judge Peterson emphasized that Isree exploited a vulnerable victim, intensifying the harm by recording the misconduct.
This case unfolded through an investigation conducted by the Lake Delton Police Department.
