by releasing bodycam footage capturing a Knife-Wielding fatal Officer-Involved Shooting (OIS) that
unfolded on August 15th. The incident occurred at the Sacramento City College light rail station,
where a male suspect armed with a knife charged menacingly towards law enforcement officers.

Officers promptly arrived at the scene,
pinpointing the suspect. While engaging with the suspect, law enforcement officers were left
with no choice but to open fire as the suspect continued to approach them, brandishing the
knife, the footage reveals.

 

In a heart-pounding turn of events, the suspect, despite being struck by gunfire initially, remarkably managed to rise to his feet, prompting officers to discharge more shots.
