Police say they have used CCTV footage evidence extracted
Authorities used footage from a Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) to build a case, which led to the arrest and charging of a 29-year-old man for killing Kenuth Williams, a 15-year-old Papine High student who was gunned down while walking home from school in 2022.

29-year-old Shaquille Richards, also known as ‘Shaquille Ballen’ from Chestnut Lane and Sandy Park, Kingston 6, faces charges of murder, illegal possession of a firearm, and illegal possession of ammunition.

Williams was reportedly shot on Wednesday,
March 23 at about 11:15 a.m., as he walked along the roadway. The police were summoned and he
was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities arrested Richards during an operation on Tuesday, May 30.

After reviewing the CCTV footage that captured him committing the murder, authorities charged him. His court date is currently arranging.
